Dr. Leita Harris is a board-certified physician and has been practicing women’s health as a Gynecologist for over 32 years, 17 of those specializing in bioidentical hormone replacement. At Evolve, Dr. Harris educates and helps patients better understand their hormones and how they can relieve the symptoms of menopause with BHRT. “As women go through their thirties and then into their forties and beyond–their hormones can feel like a high speed roller coaster, full of ups and downs, twists and turns that can make you feel like you have to buckle-in for the ride every day, but it doesn’t have to feel like that” says Harris. Dr. Harris knew from an early age that she wanted to help people. She graduated from New York University, received her medical degree at Cornell University Medical College, and completed her residency at LA County/USC Medical Center.
Dr. Mary Martin is a board-certified physician and fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecology and the Reproductive Health Research Institute. She has been helping patients improve their hormone health for over 32 years, with many of those years specializing in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. She received her medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine, and completed her residency at Carilion Center for Women and Children in Roanoke, Virginia. Overall, Martin does everything to make sure patients receive the best care. She says, “I might never be on billboards and famous for what I do, but you change people’s lives one at a time”
Dr. Keith Starwalt (DNP) is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Eastern Illinois University, Master of Science in Nursing at Rush University College of Nursing and attended Rush University again for his Doctor of Nursing Practice. Dr. Starwalt has over 8 years of acute care inpatient clinical experience at Rush University Medical Center. He is well-versed in and passionate about bioidentical hormone and peptide therapies. “There’s no one size fits all approach when it comes to peptides. That’s the beauty of our innovative and personalized treatment methods- we know that everyone’s body is different, and we treat everyone according to their individual needs” says Dr. Starwalt.
Shannon Beason is a dedicated board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner that is driven by a profound passion for providing exceptional, comprehensive care to women of all ages. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and her Masters of Science in Nursing from South College in Nashville, where she graduated with honors.
With years of experience as a labor and delivery nurse, coupled with her background as a nurse practitioner in Women’s Health clinics, Shannon has purposefully dedicated her career to providing care for women in every stage of life. For Shannon, being a nurse practitioner means offering a blend of science, compassion, and advocacy to all patients. Her approach to care is holistic, encompassing physical, emotional, and social well-being. Shannon strives to empower and support patients throughout their unique journeys, helping them navigate the various stages of life with dignity, respect, and personalized care. She is sincerely dedicated to her patient’s overall well-being and strives to make a positive impact on their lives.
Isabella Bohorquez is a bilingual board-certified family nurse practitioner experienced in obstetrics nursing, demonstrating a career-long commitment to providing safe, patient-focused, and cost-effective healthcare. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at California State University and Masters of Science in Nursing at Azusa Pacific University. She is well-versed in optimizing patient care by promoting a holistic approach to health and wellness, utilizing evidence-based disease prevention strategies.
